Samm & Ajna productions are famous for stripped-back, ultra-hypnotic percussion where every single hit feels intentional:
• High-Attack Kick & Tom Loops: We start with a punchy kick that has just enough top-end click to cut through dense mixes, paired immediately with rolling tom loops that establish the core groove.
• Percussion, Hats & Cowbell: Most of the rhythmic bounce comes from 2 primary percussion loops working in tandem, supported by 3 simple layered hat loops for steady 16th-note motion and a cowbell loop that adds a distinct wooden/metallic syncopation.
2. Three-Layer Bass Architecture (BS – Vortex, BS – Grit & BS – Murk)
To build a dark, weighty low end that translates on both club subs and headphones, we stack three Serum 2 bass presets from MAGNIFIED 2:
